The First Baptist Church of Geneva is a ministry-oriented church, focused on reaching the community – and the world – with the gospel of Jesus Christ. At FBC, there is something for everyone. Here are a few of the ministries of the church:
Led by Dana Denson, the praise team & band points the church towards Christ during the worship time each Sunday morning. We are always on the lookout for fresh talent, so whether you are an experienced musician or a beginner, this exciting ministry may be for you! Geneva Men for Christ, better known as GMC, is a group of men who meet together at least twice a month to fellowship, find spiritual accountability and friendship, and to study the most important book in the world. Our motto is “No Man Left Behind – Building Disciples to Make Disciples”. All men, 18 and over are welcome to attend. Click here to learn more.
Meeting each Wednesday night for food, fun and life-impacting lessons, the Real Youth ministry is open to all students 7th through 12th grade. So, drop by the old Fellowship Hall at 6PM each Wednesday night and make yourself at home.
With 100+ children attending, the Awana Club ministry could not be more interesting. Kids & Youth learn memory verses, participate in crazy activities and hear life-impacting messages from the Bible. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity; join us each Wednesday night at 6PM
The Geneva Evergreens is a ministry for seniors, 55 years young and over. The Evergreens meet in the Fellowship Hall the last Friday of every month at 11:30AM for fellowship, informational and inspirational sessions, and a potluck-style dinner. To learn more click here.
Sunday Bible Study (Sunday School)
On Sundays at 9AM, Bible study classes are held for virtually every age group. If you are interested in studying the Bible, then join us on Sunday mornings.
