Always Ready: Sanford 2026 Conference

What does it mean to be a Christian today? Teenagers hear many answers to this question—but are they the right answers?

Do our beliefs about God come from social media or Scripture? How do we learn who we are—by listening to influencers or to the inspired Word? In a sea of swirling opinions, it’s vital that we build our faith on the Bible as our immovable foundation.

The Always Ready youth apologetics conference from Ligonier Ministries invites students ages 12–18 to hear teaching on core truths of the Christian faith. Together, we’ll explore who God is, why we can trust the Bible, and how the gospel of Jesus Christ shapes our whole lives.

8:30–9:30 a.m. — Registration Opens

9:30–9:45 a.m. — Welcome

9:45–10:20 a.m. — Bigger Than You Think

Most people go through life with a vague sense that God exists without ever stopping to consider who He actually is. This session will press past common assumptions and explore the God who is really there, His holiness, His sovereignty, and His goodness, and why knowing Him changes everything.

10:25–11:00 a.m. — Why This Book?

There’s no shortage of voices telling you what to believe, and it can be hard to know which ones deserve your trust. This session will explore the Bible’s divine origin, historical reliability, and enduring authority, and why Scripture is the living Word of God and our sure foundation for everything we believe and do.

11:00–11:30 a.m. — Break

11:30–12:05 a.m. — "Who Am I?"

Your grades, your followers, your failures, your feelings: the world is constantly trying to tell you who you are, but every identity it offers can be shaken or taken from you. This session will explore what God has declared to be true about you in Christ and why the identity He gives is the only one that lasts.

12:05 a.m.–1:15 p.m. — Lunch

1:15–1:50 p.m. — "Why Am I Here?"

Everyone wants to know their purpose, why they’re here, what their life is for, and whether any of it matters. This session will explore what the gospel is and what it isn’t, what it means to trust and follow Christ, and how the whole Christian life finds its ultimate purpose in the glory of God.

1:55–2:40 p.m. — Conversation: Faith in the Real World

You’ve heard about who God is, why His Word can be trusted, what He says about who you are, and what it looks like to follow Him daily. This guided conversation will take the day’s teaching and bring it down to ground level, exploring how these truths shape the way you think, live, and relate to the people around you.

2:45–3:30 p.m. — Q&A: Got Questions?
